SUCC 2026 Privacy Notice

1. About this notice

Shopee (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“Shopee”, “we”, “us”) organises the Shopee Ultimate Case Challenge 2026 (“SUCC 2026”) and operates this website.

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you register for and take part in SUCC 2026, and what we do with it. It applies specifically to SUCC 2026.

This notice sits alongside the Shopee Careers Privacy Policy, which applies in full to your personal data. Where this notice does not cover something, the Shopee Careers Privacy Policy does.

2. What we collect

When you register:

Your name
Your university, faculty and year of study
Your email address and phone number
Your account password
Your team name and the members of your team

When you take part:

Your CV
Your submitted solution deck and pitch video
Any correspondence between you and the SUCC 2026 team
Your results at each stage of the competition

3. What we use it for

To check that you meet the SUCC 2026 eligibility criteria
To administer the competition — create and manage your account, contact you and your team, run each round, and record results
To share your submission with the judging panel, which is made up of Shopee Thailand senior management and Shopee employees supporting the competition
To announce competition results, which may include the names of shortlisted teams, their members and their universities
To share your details, your CV and your submission with Shopee’s recruitment team throughout the competition, so that they can identify potential candidates among participants and apply the SUCC 2026 hiring fast-track to qualifying teams
To contact you about Shopee career opportunities beyond SUCC 2026 — only if you have separately opted in at registration

4. Who can access it

Shopee employees involved in organising and judging SUCC 2026
Shopee’s recruitment team, at every stage of the competition
Service providers who host this website and support registration, under contract with us and only for the purposes described above

If you have not opted in to hearing about opportunities beyond SUCC 2026, our recruitment team will only contact you in connection with the competition itself — for example to arrange your hiring fast-track if your team qualifies.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as we need it to run SUCC 2026, and for a reasonable period afterwards to answer follow-up questions and — where you have opted in — to contact you about career opportunities. Retention periods are described in the Shopee Careers Privacy Policy.

6. Your choices and your rights

Ticking the optional box about career opportunities is entirely up to you. You can register for SUCC 2026 without it, and it makes no difference to how your team is judged.

You may withdraw that consent at any time, and you may ask us to give you access to, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Withdrawing consent for career communications does not affect your entry in the competition.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. If we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
