No. The Shopee Ultimate Case Challenge is free to participate!

The initial submission stage will be conducted virtually. However, shortlisted participants from the top 30 teams will be required to attend the subsequent stages of the competition in person in Bangkok.

There are 4 stages of participation: 1) Team Registration: Form a team of 2–4 members from 3rd and 4th year of studies to participate. 2) Case submission: Crack the case and submit a pitching deck and video. 3) Semi-finalist round: The top 30 teams will be invited to pitch their ideas in person, with the top 10 teams advancing to the final round. 4) Final round: The top 10 teams will present their solutions, and the top three winning teams will be selected.

Registration closes on 30 September 2026, and teams must submit their pitch deck and presentation video by 4 October 2026. The semi-final round is scheduled for 16 October 2026, followed by the grand final on 30 October 2026.

3rd and 4th year undergraduate students are welcome to participate!

No coding or business background is required. SUCC welcomes students from all academic disciplines, and we encourage teams to bring together diverse skills and perspectives.

1. A solution deck with no more than 5 pages, in PDF or PowerPoint format. Google slide submission is not allowed. 2. A 2-minute pitching video presenting your team's solution.

The 5-page limit covers your solution content only. A cover page is allowed and does not count towards the limit. Appendices are permitted for important reference information only and judges are not obliged to review them.

Your video must be uploaded as a file. Links (YouTube, Google Drive and similar) are not accepted. Accepted file formats and the maximum file size are shown on the submission page.

All submissions and pitches must be in English.

Yes, participants are welcome to use Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT during the competition. However, teams should apply their own judgement, critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, and ensure that their final solution reflects their original thinking and understanding.

Top 30 teams will be selected for the Semi-Final round.

Top 10 teams will be selected for the Grand Final round.

Top 3 teams will walk away with attractive prizes: THB 60,000 for Champion, THB 30,000 for 1st Runner-up, and THB 10,000 for 2nd Runner-up. In addition, the top 30 teams will receive a certificate from Shopee!

The Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is Shopee's structured two-year career programme for final-year students and recent graduates. Participants complete four six-month rotations across key business functions at Shopee and Monee, with the possibility of overseas exposure depending on business needs. The programme aims to develop a strong pipeline of young talent who can grow into future leaders within the organisation.

The Apprentice Program (AP) is an internship programme specially designed for second and penultimate year students (Year 2–3), to hone their professional skills and develop them into young leaders. In Thailand the programme runs from May to July (approximately 10–12 weeks), and participants are required to commit to a full-time internship schedule of five days per week throughout this period.
