About SUCC Competition

The Shopee Ultimate Case Challenge is returning to Thailand for 2026! And we’re inviting 3rd and 4th year brightest minds to be part of it.

Top teams walk away with cash prizes of up to THB 60,000, plus a fast-track into the Final Round of Interview of Shopee’s Graduate Development Programmes (GDP) for graduating students or the Apprentice Programme (AP) for non-graduating participants.

Is there a participation fee?+
No. The Shopee Ultimate Case Challenge is free to participate in!
How do I register?+
You can register via the registration button above.
What are the stages of the competition?+
There are 5 stages of participation: 1) Application submission 2) Top 30 teams pitching their ideas in person 3) Top 15 teams shortlisted 4) Top 15 teams submitting their final case 5) Top 10 teams presenting final results to the judges.
What is the official timeline and key deadlines for each round?+
Application submission will be closed at the end of September. The top 30 teams semi-final round will be closed around late October. While the Final round will take place around the end of October.
Is the competition entirely virtual, in-person, or hybrid?+
If you are selected as the top 30 teams you need to be physically present in Bangkok throughout the competition.
If the finals are in-person, will travel and accommodation expenses be covered?+
Participants need to cover related expenses to participate in the in-person sessions.

Who is eligible to participate?+
3rd – 4th year students are welcome to participate!
Can I apply alone?+
No individual registration will be accepted.
Am I allowed to change my teammates?+
Once team registration is completed, participants are not eligible to change the team members. For further inquiries, please contact SUCC's staff.
What is the minimum and maximum team size?+
Participants may form a team of 2 to 4 members to participate.
Can team members be from different universities, companies, or countries?+
Yes, as long as everyone in the team either hold Thai nationality or study in Thai's university.
Is there a way to find teammates if I don't have a team yet?+
Participants shall find the team member before submit their application.
Technical & Submission Requirements+
Do I need a background in coding or business to participate?+
SUCC is welcomed to any academic background you may have!
What deliverables do we need to submit for the preliminary round?+
A written case solution deck with a maximum of 5 pages needs to be submitted as a PDF or PowerPoint file. Google Sheet submission is not allowed.
Are we allowed to use Generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) during the competition?+
Utilizing generative AI to enhance the case solution is allowed. However, it is highly recommended for participants to generate and synthesize original ideas for the case for their own benefits.
Can I submit a project or idea that I have worked on before?+
It is not recommended. Participants should generate a case solution based on the specific context of SUCC's 2026 case.

How many teams will move to the Semi-Final round?+
Top 30 teams will be selected for the Semi-Final round.
What is the Grand Prize?+
Top 3 teams will walk away with attractive cash prizes: THB 60,000 for Champion, THB 30,000 for Runner-up, and THB 10,000 for 2nd Runner-up.
What is the GDP (Graduate Development Program)?+
The Graduate Development Program (GDP) is Shopee Thailand's 2-year structured career track for final-year students and recent graduates. Over four 6-month rotations (local and overseas), participants move across key business functions at Shopee and Monee, including Business Development, Business Intelligence, Financial Products, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and SPX Express (logistics). Along the way you get guidance from senior leaders and functional managers, structured on-the-job training, and the chance to work on high-visibility projects.
